The aim is to share resources that bring co-operation and co-operative values into
today’s education system through curriculum work and school management.

It features work by:

  • Co-operative businesses from across the world

  • Are you a trust school or on the supported schools programme? The Trust and Foundation Schools Partnership are organizing a number of networking events in March 2010. They aim for schools to share practice and network with a range of schools so that co-operative trusts can share their experience and learn from others. Key note speakers are being arranged and currently Hathershaw School are giving the keynote at Leeds and Upper Shirley High leading a Rondeval in London, both are co-operative trusts.   • Congratulations to Forest Gate Community School in London. They have done a fantastic job supporting local primary schools with ASDAN Stepping Stones and Fair Trade. A celebration event for the 300 primary students is planned for the 2 March. For inspiration click here to see their Fairtrade Fortnight plan starting on the 22 February 2010.

  • On the 5 November 2009 The Co-operative Schools Network was launched by Ed Balls, Secretary of State for Children Schools and Families, at a conference held in Manchester. The conference report and video excepts from the speeches are available in the 'Co-operative Trusts' section.
